AlFaisalya Release Princess Hessa Name

The Al-Faisalya Association has organized a special meeting in Jeddah to honor the memory of Her Royal Highness Princess Hassa bint Khalid bin Abdul Aziz, God rest her soul, and release her name on the Social and Health Development Center, in the evening of Monday 6 Safer 1432 AH, corresponding to the 10th  of January 2011. This honor is considered as a national achievement to a name of one of the pioneers in charity volunteering work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Which contributed in the foundation of the Al-Faisalya Association in 1396 AH – 1976 AD and chaired the first board of directors in 1396 AH, and continued in the presidency of the Association until 1412. During the meeting, and in the presence of the founder members of the Association, and members of the Board of Directors from  1396  and to 1432 , and its employed members and who joined, in addition to volunteers and supporting characters of the Association since inception until now, Princess Hassa Bint Khaled Center for Social Development has been opened.
      The Center of Social and Health Development has been established in 1396, under the name of the Commission of Social and Health Services as the first committee of Al-Faisalya Association. Which started since inception, the work to help poor and needy families, through providing material and in-kind aids to poor families and prisoners, and providing health assistance to hospitals and patients. At the beginning of the year 1430 ,they changed the name of the  committee to become the  Social Development Center in order to achieve social and health development foundation to multiple classes of society through studying and identifying their needs and working hard to meet them through various development  programs and projects such as subsidies programs, guarantees, cultural and health awareness, training programs in order to achieve the family stability, and works to raise the standard of living and the advancement of  the society.
